Glue closure system for varicose veins2

Intracavitary glue closure therapy for varicose veins of the lower extremities is a special catheter inserted into the great saphenous vein of the leg through venipuncture. Pass the catheter into the affected vein segment under ultrasound guidance. Then, when pulling the catheter along the vein, the doctor uses a specialized delivery system to push a small amount of n-butyl 2-cyanoacrylate (n-BCA) adhesive into the damaged vein. After the adhesive is applied, gentle pressure is applied to ensure that the vein is closed. The adhesive is a formulation based on n-butyl 2-cyanoacrylate (n-BCA). It is a transparent, free-flowing liquid that is sterile after exposure to dry heat. The adhesive polymerizes in blood vessels through an anionic mechanism. Use risk
